  15. Q.Type ANNOUNCES TypefaceInstaller 1.05 APPLICATION FOR NEXTSTEP COMPUTERS.

  17. ENGLEWOOD, Colorado, May 8, 1994 -- Q.Type today announced the availability of
  18. its TypefaceInstaller application for NEXTSTEP. TypefaceInstaller is a nifty,
  19.   easy-to-use NEXTSTEP fonts installer. It eliminates the hassles of copying
  20. the fonts from different source folders and invoking the Unix commands to build
  21.   the font directory so that the fonts are listed in the Font Panel.

  26. 1.TypefaceInstaller allows you to select fonts via NEXTSTEP browser
  27. or via drag-n-drop from the File Viewer.
  28. 2.TypefaceInstaller allows you to keep drag-n-dropping fonts from
  29. different sources until the Install button is pressed.
  30. 3.TypefaceInstaller allows you to specify the location of the fonts
  31. folder other than the standard NEXTSTEP font folders.
  32. 4.TypefaceInstaller allows you to add and delete locations of fonts
  33. folders except the two standard NEXTSTEP font folders.
  34. 5.TypefaceInstaller allows you to clear one, several, or all fonts
  35. that have been dropped in TypefaceInstaller.
  36. 6.TypefaceInstaller allows you to abort and restart installation
  37. process.
  38. 7.TypefaceInstaller allows you to see the progress of the installation
  39. via a progress time report and status line.
  40. 8.TypefaceInstaller gives you the log report of installation errors
  41. and successes.
  42. 9.TypefaceInstaller does not allow you to drag-n-drop files other
  43. than NEXTSTEP fonts (*.font).
  44. 10.NEXTSTEP font files (*.font) can be double-click to automatically
  45. launch TypefaceInstaller and placed in its file well ready to be
  46. installed.
  47. 11.Online Help is available.
  48. 12.Multi-Architecture Binary support.
